1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Next Laptops UG website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.
2. About Our Services
Next Laptops UG operates as a laptop sourcing and recommendation platform. We connect customers with trusted suppliers to help them find laptops that match their needs and budget. In some cases, we also facilitate special orders, accessories, and repair services through third-party partners.
We do not always own or stock all products listed on our website. Availability, pricing, and specifications may vary depending on the supplier.
3. Product Information & Accuracy
We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, specifications, and prices are accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all information is always error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to correct any errors or update information at any time without prior notice.
4. Orders & Payments
All orders are subject to confirmation and availability. Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
Payment terms, including deposits or full payments, will be clearly communicated before order confirmation, especially for custom or special requests.
Deposit Protection for Custom Orders: For custom orders requiring a deposit, if the supplier fails to deliver the agreed specifications, your deposit is 100% refundable.
5. Third-Party Suppliers
Next Laptops UG works with third-party suppliers to fulfill many orders. While we aim to partner with reliable suppliers, we are not directly responsible for delays, stock issues, defects, or changes originating from these suppliers. However, we will always act in good faith to resolve any issues on behalf of our customers.
6. Repairs & Additional Services
Repair and technical services may be provided through partnered technicians. While we aim to ensure quality service, Next Laptops UG is not liable for any damages or data loss that may occur during repair processes. Customers are advised to back up their data before submitting devices for repair.
7. User Responsibilities
By using our website, you agree not to misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or engage in any activity that may harm the website or its users. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental consent to use our services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
All materials and services on this website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Next Laptops UG makes no guarantees regarding uninterrupted service, product availability, or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Next Laptops UG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier failures, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, pandemics, or labor disputes.
11. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Before initiating any legal action, you agree to contact us to resolve the issue informally. If the dispute remains unresolved within 14 days of contacting us, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration in Kampala, Uganda. Arbitration shall be conducted in English under the rules of the Uganda Arbitration and Conciliation Act. You agree that any arbitration or legal proceeding shall be conducted on an individual basis, not as a class action.
